Sono venuta a conoscenza di questo rifugio e di Fadel, attraverso un video del piccolo Ahmed.
Alla piccola Suzy, la gattina di Ahmed, il rifugio ha fornito cibo per un mese e, nel frattempo, il piccolo Ahmed ha avuto l’occasione di familiarizzare con i cani del rifugio.
A volte, si cade nell’errore di pensare che gli aiuti agli animali siano secondari, rispetto agli aiuti agli esseri umani, soprattutto in un contesto come quello di Gaza.
Ma se ognuno continua a mettere in circolo l’Amore e continua fare del bene nel mondo, secondo quella che è la propria specializzazione, mettendo al servizio di tutti le proprie competenze; alla fine, è l’intero mondo che ne trae beneficio.
E l’incontro tra Ahmed e Fadel ne è un esempio perfetto.
Infatti, Fadel non ha aiutato solo Suzy, ma procurando cibo alla gattina, è riuscito a dare sollievo anche al piccolo Ahmed e alla sua famiglia.
Ovviamente, l’azione del rifugio non si ferma qui e, sull’account Instagram, è possibile seguire le storie dei molti animali salvati e vedere come opera il team, anche in collaborazione con il centro veterinario Aman, e come continua a cercare di portare cure e vita in mezzo a tanto dolore e sofferenza.

I came to know about this shelter and Fadel through a video of little Ahmed.
The shelter provided food for a month to little Suzy, Ahmed’s cat, and in the meantime, little Ahmed had the opportunity to get to know the shelter’s dogs.
Sometimes, we fall into the mistake of thinking that helping animals is secondary to helping humans, especially in a context like Gaza.

And the meeting between Ahmed and Fadel is a perfect example of this.
